The DG4V3S8CVMSP2DT561 directional valve is produced by Vickers as part of the DG4 Directional Valves series for hydraulic automation circuits. It employs a tandem center spool that connects port P to T in the neutral position, unloading pump flow when the solenoid is inactive. A spring-centered arrangement returns the spool to this position automatically. During actuation the valve passes up to 40 l/min while sustaining 350 bar at ports P, A, and B, and it confines the tank line to 210 bar. Electrical actuation is provided by a dual solenoid located at the A end and identified as type V; each coil draws 30 W and is built in the SP2 style with two 6.3 mm spade terminals that simplify wiring.
Mounting follows the CETOP 3 / NFPA D03 pattern and matches an ISO 4401-AB-03-4-A subplate, secured with M5-0.8 or 10-24 UNC-2B bolts tightened to 4.5–6.0 N·m for leak-free sealing. The coil windings use Class H insulation and are rated for a 100 percent duty cycle, allowing continuous energization without overheating. System oil must be filtered to ISO 4406 cleanliness code 19/17/14 to prevent wear of the precision spool fit and maintain reliable shifting. The assembled double-solenoid unit weighs 2.2 kg, so it can be handled easily during manifold installation.
