The DG4V3S8BVMFWB561 valve belongs to the DG4 Directional Valves series from Vickers and is used to shift hydraulic flow paths in automated machinery. A wet armature solenoid performs the actuation, allowing the moving armature to remain lubricated by system fluid. The coil operates on direct-current supply only and consumes 30 W while energized. Its encapsulation meets Class F insulation requirements, and the copper windings are specified to Class H so thermal limits are higher than the surrounding insulation. Electrical leads exit as a flying-lead bundle for easy splicing into harnesses. Continuous duty is possible because the relative duty cycle is 100 % ED, and the magnetic force remains stable as long as the applied voltage does not drop below 90 % of the rating.
The valve mounts to manifolds that follow ISO 4401-AB-03-4-A and aligns with the CETOP 3 (NFPA D03) port pattern to ease interchange with other directional valves. Internal passages support up to 40 L/min (10.5 US gpm) without exceeding the rated flow limit, and pressure at the P, A, and B ports can reach 350 bar (5000 psi). The tank port tolerates 210 bar (3000 psi) so back-pressure from return circuits does not impair shifting. Oil cleanliness should be maintained to ISO 19/17/14 to reduce spool wear. The spool arrangement routes both service ports to tank with the pressure port blocked and provides regenerative flow on port B when commanded. A 1/2 in NPT thread is provided on the wiring housing for conduit entry.
