The DG4V3S7AMFWB560 valve is manufactured by Vickers as part of the DG4 Directional Valves series for hydraulic automation systems. It directs pressurized oil by means of a spool type 7, which connects port P to A or B while blocking T to control actuator motion. A spring offset arrangement designated as code A holds the spool in its default position when the solenoid is de-energized. The assembly tolerates a maximum operating pressure of 350 bar on ports P, A, and B so it can be installed in high-pressure circuits. It passes up to 40 liters per minute, defining the flow capacity that the connected pump and actuators must observe. A wet armature solenoid design immerses the magnetic core in oil to minimize wear and damp noise. The coil consumes 30 W, providing the magnetizing force required to shift the spool under rated pressure. Because the coil is specified for DC only, users must supply a direct-current source for actuation. A 100 percent duty cycle allows the coil to remain energized continuously without thermal derating.
Electrical termination follows the flying leads coil style, so field wiring can be routed directly to the control cabinet without additional connectors. The solenoid housing is tapped for a 1/2 inch NPT thread, offering a common conduit entry for protective coverings. A plain manual override located at the solenoid end lets maintenance personnel shift the spool mechanically during commissioning or power loss. The body mounts to an ISO 4401-03, CETOP 3, NFPA D03 interface, enabling interchangeability with other subplate valves that share the same pattern. The mating surface must exhibit a flatness of 0.013 mm to prevent external leakage across the seal lines. A surface finish of 1.1 µm Ra is required on the mounting face to maintain gasket integrity. System fluid should meet ISO 4406 class 19/17/14 cleanliness to protect the precision spool and reduce wear. The single-solenoid configuration weighs 1.6 kg, facilitating easy installation by one technician.
