The DG4V3S6NMFPA5WLH560 valve is produced by Vickers for the DG4 Directional Valves series. It directs hydraulic flow in automated circuits where electrical actuation governs spool movement. A flying lead coil rated for 30 W provides the magnetizing force while limiting power draw, and the insulation is Class H to tolerate high winding temperatures during continuous duty. The coil can run at a 100% duty cycle so it remains energized without cycling off, and reliable operation is maintained as long as the supply voltage does not fall below 90 percent of its rating. Electrical connection is made through a 5-pin PA5 receptacle, and the wiring housing accepts a 1/2-inch NPT thread for conduit entry. Internally the spool follows function code 6, which blocks port P and routes ports A and B to tank when energized conditions change.

In service, the valve handles a rated flow of 40 liters per minute, enabling medium capacity actuators to move at controlled speeds. The hydraulic medium must meet ISO 4406 cleanliness level 19/17/14 to prevent spool wear and maintain response consistency. Working ports P, A, and B can be pressurized up to 350 bar, while the tank port tolerates 100 bar, extending mounting flexibility in high-pressure manifolds. The body mounts on an ISO 4401-03 (CETOP 3) interface, and the sealing face must remain within 0.013 mm flatness to avoid leakage. These pressure limits permit full flow through the metering lands without valve body distortion, and the flatness tolerance also supports proper gasket compression at the interface. With a 60 ms energizing time and a 40 ms de-energizing time, control loops can rely on predictable switching during machine cycles.
