The DG4V3S6CVMFPM4WLH560EN623 directional control valve is produced by Vickers as part of the DG4 Directional Valves series for hydraulic automation circuits. It shifts flow paths to actuators or returns oil to tank as demanded by machine logic. In its neutral position the center condition blocks port P while ports A and B are open to tank, isolating pump pressure yet allowing actuator lines to unload. A spring-centered arrangement automatically returns the spool to this neutral position when power is removed, ensuring fail-safe operation. Actuation is provided by a wet armature solenoid, so the moving core is immersed in oil for quiet performance and extended service life. The solenoid is built in V orientation, which identifies the electrical connection layout for wiring inside standardized manifolds. A 24 VDC coil drives the unit, matching common control voltages in mobile and industrial equipment. Continuous energization is supported by a 100 percent duty cycle, allowing the valve to remain shifted without temperature derating. Electrical input is limited to 30 W, reducing panel power demand. When fully stroked the valve passes a rated flow of 40 L per minute, permitting medium-sized cylinders or motors to respond quickly.


The hydraulic envelope is designed for working pressures up to 350 bar on ports P, A, and B, enabling the valve to operate in high-pressure power units without external pressure reducers. It mounts on CETOP 3 / NFPA D03 subplates, facilitating interchange with other size 03 components. Alignment of ports follows the ISO 4401-AB-03-4-A interface, so manifold cavities mate directly with the valve body. Four through holes of 5.6 mm with 10.0 mm counterbores accept mounting bolts, and the specified M5-0.8-6H thread on the fasteners secures the body against pressure load. Each interface port is machined to a diameter of 7.9 mm to maintain flow capacity while sealing against the manifold O-rings. The overall length of 219.4 mm provides clearance for coil overhang inside compact valve stacks. The assembled valve body and coil weigh 2.2 kg, allowing manual installation without lifting aids while still providing the mass needed for vibration stability.
