The DG4V3S6CMFWB560 is produced by Vickers within the DG4 Directional Valves series and is intended to shift hydraulic flow paths in automation manifolds. It mounts on an ISO 4401-03 (CETOP 3 / NFPA D03) interface so it can drop into standard sub-plates. The internal spool is a number 6 pattern that blocks the pressure port while connecting both work ports to tank, allowing safe load dumping when the valve is de-energized. A C spring-centered arrangement returns the spool to its neutral position without external force. Flow capacity is rated at 40 l/min (10.5 US gpm), supporting medium size actuators at station pressure. The wet armature solenoid isolates the coil from hydraulic oil yet allows efficient magnetic force transfer. Working lines P, A, and B withstand up to 350 bar (5000 psi), and the tank return line is limited to 100 bar (1450 psi) to protect downstream components.
Electrical design focuses on reliable on/off performance from a direct-current supply. The coil draws 30 W during operation and can remain energized continuously thanks to a 100 % duty cycle rating. A minimum supply of 90 % of the nominal voltage ensures full shifting force without chatter. The winding is built to class H temperature limits, while the encapsulation meets class F, providing insulation margins for hot environments. An F-type coil with flying leads simplifies field wiring, and outgoing conductors exit through a 1/2 NPT threaded housing. Power is delivered from a DC source that matches the coil rating so no rectifier is required.
