The DG4V3S6CMFTWLDJ560 valve is part of the DG4 Directional Valves series from Vickers and is installed to shift hydraulic flow paths in automated machinery. It uses spool code 6, which blocks port P while connecting ports A and B to T in the centered position, and the C spring-centered arrangement recenters the spool when the coils are de-energized. Maximum operating pressure on pressure and work ports is 350 bar (5000 psi), allowing the unit to operate in high-pressure circuits, while a rated flow of 40 l/min (10.5 USgpm) supports medium-sized actuators. Each solenoid coil draws 30 W, is encapsulated to Class F standards, and relies on Class H winding insulation to tolerate elevated temperatures. Continuous duty (100% ED) service is permitted, so the valve can remain energized without mandatory cooling periods.
The electrical connector carries an IP67 protection level when used with an ISO 4400 plug, preventing dust ingress and temporary water immersion during wash-down. Hydraulic fluid cleanliness should meet code 19/17/14 to avoid wear on the precision spool lands. Tank port pressure must not exceed 100 bar (1450 psi) to maintain seal integrity. Installation follows the ISO 4401-03 mounting pattern, and M5-0.8-6H bolts are specified for fastening. At least 50 mm of centerline spacing is required to give tool access between adjacent valves. The manifold face should be flat within 0.013 mm, and surface roughness must be held to 1.1 µm to ensure reliable port sealing.
