The DG4V3S63FLMX1H460 directional valve is produced by Vickers within the DG4 Directional Valves series and serves to route hydraulic flow to actuators in automated machinery. The solenoid coil operates at 24 V DC and draws 30 W, allowing low-voltage power supplies to shift the spool without excessive heat. Class H insulation combined with Class F encapsulation lets the winding endure elevated temperatures during continuous service, and a 100 percent ED duty rating keeps the valve energized indefinitely when a circuit must hold position. An IP67 housing, achieved with an ISO 4400 plug, protects against dust and temporary water immersion. Installation is simplified by an ISO 4401-AB-03-4-A interface and an NFPA D03 mounting pattern, so the unit bolts directly to standard CETOP 3 sub-plates.
The valve handles flows up to 40 l/min (10.5 US gpm) and withstands 350 bar on ports P, A, and B, while the T port is rated for 210 bar, meeting the needs of medium-pressure systems. Hydraulic fluid cleanliness must be maintained at ISO 4406 level 19/17/14 to prevent spool wear. When energized, the spool shifts within 60 ms and returns in 40 ms after power removal, supporting rapid machine cycles. A type 6 spool blocks the pressure port while routing both work ports to tank, allowing actuators to depressurize in the centered position. The FL spring arrangement holds the spool in the offset LHB position until magnetic force overcomes it, providing predictable fail-safe operation.
