The DG4V3S2CMUB560 directional valve is produced by Vickers for the DG4 Directional Valves series and is intended to control actuator flow paths in hydraulic automation. The valve uses a 2C closed center spool code which blocks all ports when de-energized to hold load position. A B spring offset arrangement returns the spool to this neutral state once current is removed. Energizing the solenoid shifts the spool within 60 ms, while de-energizing takes 40 ms, allowing rapid cycle times in machine sequences. Continuous energization is permitted by a 100% ED duty cycle, preventing thermal overload during long dwell periods. Coil encapsulation built to Class F and winding insulation rated Class H raise allowable winding temperature, supporting operation in hot environments. An ISO 4400 (DIN 43650) electrical connector provides standard pin alignment, and sealing to IP67 with the correct plug keeps moisture and dust from entering the coil housing.

Designed for medium power circuits, the valve passes up to 40 l/min (10.5 USgpm) without exceeding pressure drop limits. Service ports P, A, and B accept working pressures to 350 bar (5000 psi), while the tank port tolerates backpressure to 100 bar (1450 psi), allowing compact return line plumbing. When bolted to gray iron subplates the port diameters must not exceed 6.5 mm; steel or spheroidal graphite iron bases may open to 7.0 mm to accommodate higher flow without jeopardizing sealing. The mounting interface follows ISO 4401-AB-03-4-A and complies with the CETOP 3 / NFPA D03 pattern so the valve can replace other size 03 units on a manifold. This standardized footprint simplifies maintenance and facilitates global interchangeability within modular hydraulic systems.
