The DG4V3S2AMFWB560 directional control valve is produced by Vickers as part of the DG4 Directional Valves series for routing hydraulic flow in automated machinery. A closed center spool blocks all ports when de-energized, and the spring offset end-to-end arrangement returns the spool to its rest position without external force. Compliance with the CETOP 3 (NFPA D03) size standard and the ISO 4401-AB-03-4-A mounting interface lets the valve bolt directly to standard subplates. The unit handles up to 40 l/min (10.5 USgpm) to match medium flow circuits that power cylinders or hydraulic motors. Working ports p, A, and B are rated for 350 bar (5000 psi), while the T port is limited to 100 bar (1450 psi) to keep return pressure within safe limits. A wet armature solenoid immerses the magnetic core in system oil, improving heat transfer and reducing wear.
Coil excitation requires 30 W and is supplied through flying leads, allowing straightforward integration with cabinet wiring. Class H winding insulation tolerates high temperatures, and the encapsulation molded to Class F standards further protects the coil from vibration and moisture. The valve can remain energized continuously because the duty cycle is specified at 100 % ED for unrestricted on-time. When an ISO 4400 plug is fitted, the housing achieves IP67 sealing so water or dust cannot reach internal components. Electrical conduit attaches via a 1/2 in NPT thread, providing a robust strain-relief path for the incoming cable. Plain manual overrides enable maintenance personnel to shift the spool manually during setup or in the event of power loss.
