The DG4V3S2AMFPA5WLH560 directional valve is produced by Vickers as part of the DG4 Directional Valves series and is intended to route hydraulic flow in automated machinery. A closed-center spool identified as type 2 blocks all ports in neutral, while the spring offset arrangement coded A returns the spool when power is removed. Actuation is provided by a wet armature solenoid that draws 30 W from a direct-current supply and can remain energized continuously because the duty cycle is 100 % ED. The valve handles up to 40 l/min (10.5 gpm) and withstands 350 bar (5000 psi) on the P, A, and B ports. Installation aligns with the ISO 4401-03 interface, also known as CETOP 3 or NFPA D03, so it can replace similarly sized units on standard subplates.
The electrical side uses a PA5 five-pin receptacle, and flying leads designated as coil type F simplify attachment to control wiring. Conduit entry follows the W thread, providing a 1/2 NPT opening for field cabling. When an ISO 4400 connector is fitted the enclosure achieves an IP67 rating, protecting internal parts from dust and temporary immersion. Return flow is limited to 100 bar (1450 psi) at the T port, safeguarding tank lines against overpressure. Subplates in gray iron may be drilled to 6.5 mm, while steel plates can open the ports to 7.0 mm to exploit higher material strength.
