The DG4V3S2ALMUB560 is produced by Vickers within the DG4 Directional Valves series and is intended to shift hydraulic flow paths in automated machinery. The solenoid uses a U-style electrical coil compatible with ISO 4400 DIN 43650 connectors, allowing standardized wiring. Coil insulation is rated to Class F while the winding itself meets Class H, so the assembly tolerates elevated temperatures during extended service. Continuous service is supported by a 100 % duty cycle, and normal operation draws 30 W from the supply. The energizing circuit must maintain at least 90 % of the nominal voltage to guarantee full actuation. Hydraulically, the valve passes up to 40 l/min (10.5 US gpm) without exceeding recommended limits, and the spool designated as type 2 provides a closed-center flow pattern when centered.
The internal spool is arranged as code A with a spring offset to the left-hand side, so the element returns to its de-energized position when power is removed. A plain manual override located at the solenoid end lets technicians shift the spool mechanically for testing or emergency operation. When the plug is fitted, the housing achieves IP67 ingress protection to resist water and dust in harsh environments. Rated pressure at ports P, A, and B reaches 350 bar (5000 psi), while the tank port can accept up to 100 bar (1450 psi). Mounting follows the ISO 4401-AB-03-4-A interface, also identified as CETOP 3 or NFPA D03. Installation is secured with M5 × 0.8-6H bolts tightened to 4.5–6.0 N·m, completing the mechanical attachment.
