The DG4V3S2ALMFTWLB560 valve belongs to the DG4 Directional Valves series produced by Vickers and is used to route hydraulic flow in automated circuits. It employs spool type 2, a closed-center design that blocks all ports in the neutral position, and spool/spring arrangement A, which offsets the spool with a return spring when the solenoid is not powered. A rated flow of 40 L/min (10.5 US gpm) supports medium-capacity actuators, while the pressure, A, and B ports tolerate up to 350 bar (5000 psi); the tank port is limited to 100 bar (1450 psi). An ISO 4401-03 / CETOP 3 / NFPA D03 mounting interface allows direct installation on standard subplates. The unit uses a wet armature solenoid that runs on DC only, reducing mechanical noise and extending service life.
The build orientation is left-hand to match manifolds arranged for that flow path. Class F coil encapsulation guards the windings, and Class H insulation lets the coil endure higher temperatures during heavy duty. Electrical connection is provided by flying leads classified as Type F, giving flexible wiring in confined panels. The solenoid absorbs 30 W while operating, and a continuous duty factor of ED 100 % permits indefinite energization without overheating. At 20 L/min and 175 bar, the armature reaches full stroke in 60 ms after energizing and returns in 40 ms when de-energized, providing consistent shift timing for precise machine cycles.
