The DG4V3S2AHMFPA5WLH560 directional valve belongs to the DG4 Directional Valves series produced by Vickers for hydraulic automation circuits. It uses spool type 2, a closed-center design that blocks all ports in the neutral position to stop flow during standby conditions. A spring-offset arrangement designated “A” shifts the spool back to its default position when the solenoid is de-energized, providing automatic centering without external forces. Actuation is delivered by a wet armature solenoid, which immerses the plunger in oil to reduce mechanical wear and operating noise. The coil is rated for 24 VDC and consumes 30 W, establishing the electrical demand placed on the control system. Coil category “F” supplies flying leads for direct DC wiring, eliminating fixed connectors on the coil body. Continuous duty at 100 % ED permits the coil to remain energized indefinitely without overheating. A water-resistant manual override identified by code “H” lets technicians shift the spool by hand when electrical power is unavailable.

For flow performance, the valve passes up to 40 l/min (10.5 USgpm) while maintaining directional control. It withstands 350 bar (5000 psi) on the pressure, A, and B ports, enabling use in high-pressure power units, and tolerates 100 bar (1450 psi) at the tank port to accommodate back-pressure in return lines. Mounting follows the ISO 4401-AB-03-4-A pattern, allowing the unit to bolt onto standard size 03 subplates for quick interchangeability. An integral PA5 five-pin receptacle forms the primary electrical connector, providing a removable interface for harness assembly. The wiring housing carries a 1/2 in NPT thread coded “W,” so conduit or cable glands can be attached to protect leads from abrasion and fluid exposure. Total weight of 1.6 kg (3.5 lb) eases installation by a single technician and limits load on the manifold surface.
