The DG4V3S22ALMX1H460 valve is part of the DG4 Directional Valves series from Vickers and is intended to switch flow paths in automated hydraulic circuits. It uses a wet armature solenoid to shift the spool, so the moving parts remain lubricated by system fluid. The coil is encapsulated to Class F, while the winding insulation is rated to Class H, allowing the electromagnetic assembly to tolerate elevated temperatures. A continuous duty cycle of 100 percent means the solenoid can stay energized without time limits, and the device will still function when the supply voltage drops to 90 percent of its nominal value. The ISO 4400 coil housing is sealed to IP67, preventing water or dust from entering during wash-down or outdoor service.
The internal element is a closed-center two-way spool that blocks all ports at the neutral position, and a spring offset to the left returns the spool when the solenoid is de-energized. Hydraulic lines connected to ports p, a, and b may be pressurized up to 350 bar (5000 psi) without damaging the body, provided the oil cleanliness remains at ISO 4406 19/17/14 to avoid wear. The mounting interface follows ISO 4401-03 and corresponds to CETOP 3 / NFPA D03, so the valve fits standardized sub-plates. Fastening is completed with M5-0.8-6H or 10-24 UNC-2B bolts, securing the assembly against the manifold and maintaining correct gasket compression.
