The DG4V3M2AMKUP5G760 directional valve is produced by Vickers as part of the DG4 Directional Valves series for controlling oil flow in automated hydraulic circuits. It employs a 2-position closed center spool so all ports are blocked when the solenoid is de-energized. Actuation is supplied by a wet armature solenoid that minimizes mechanical wear and dampens noise. The coil runs on 12 VDC, and its top-exit flying leads (KU) simplify direct field wiring. Copper windings are insulated to Class H while the exterior encapsulation meets Class F to withstand elevated temperatures. Lead wires also carry Class H insulation, ensuring the entire electrical path resists heat. A continuous duty rating of ED 100 % allows the solenoid to stay energized indefinitely without overheating, supporting prolonged machine cycles.
The valve fastens to an ISO 4401-AB-03-4-A subplate and follows the CETOP 3 / NFPA D03 interface, which ensures interchangeability with standard size 03 hardware. Internal galleries support up to 40 l/min (10.5 US gpm) so medium-capacity cylinders and motors can be supplied without excessive pressure loss. Working ports P, A, and B tolerate 350 bar (5000 psi) while the tank port is limited to 210 bar (3000 psi) to protect return plumbing. A spring offset arrangement designated A automatically pushes the spool to its rest position when power is removed, providing fail-safe operation. The single-solenoid model weighs 1.6 kg, and the double-solenoid version weighs 2.2 kg, letting designers choose the configuration that best matches mounting load limits and circuit logic.
