The DG4V3IBPLT10JAS310 directional control valve belongs to the DG4 Directional Valves series and is produced by Vickers. It directs hydraulic flow in automated machinery by shifting a spool with a solenoid coil. The valve mounts on an ISO 4401-AB-03-4-A interface so it drops onto standard subplates without extra drilling, and its CETOP 3 / NFPA D03 pattern aligns ports for interchangeability across common manifolds. Working ports P, A, and B are rated to 350 bar (5075 psi), permitting use in high-pressure circuits found in presses and machine tools. Electrical demand is limited to 30 W, allowing the solenoid to be driven by typical 24 VDC power supplies without excess heat. The coil can remain energized continuously thanks to a 100 % duty cycle, enabling steady spool positioning during prolonged machine cycles. Class F encapsulation helps dissipate heat from the external bobbin, while Class H insulation protects internal windings against temperature rise. A typical energize time of 60 ms shifts the spool quickly, and the 40 ms de-energize time restores the neutral position for fast directional changes.
The integrated ISO 4400 plug achieves an IP67 rating, sealing the electrical junction against dust and temporary immersion. Conduit entry is provided by an M20 × 1.5 wiring housing thread, allowing direct connection of armored cable glands. For flow tuning, a 1.00 mm restrictor orifice is installed in the T port to limit return flow and prevent shock, and additional fine adjustment can be made through an M5 × 0.8-6H restrictor plug thread located in the body. When the valve is bolted to gray iron subplates, port diameters up to 6.5 mm are accepted, while steel or SG iron bases allow 7.0 mm ports to maximize flow capacity. These mechanical allowances ensure correct seating, leak-free joints, and predictable pressure drops across the installation.
