The DG4V38CVMKUP6G761EN676 directional control valve is produced by Vickers within the DG4 Directional Valves series. It switches hydraulic flow to start, stop, or change actuator movement in automation systems. A spool type 8 in a tandem center configuration routes pump flow to tank during neutral to reduce heat. The C-rated spring centers the spool when the solenoid is de-energized, returning the valve to neutral without external force. A wet armature solenoid separates the coil from hydraulic fluid and lowers noise. Coil encapsulation to Class F protects the winding against vibration, while Class H insulation tolerates higher operating temperatures. The coil is rated for 12 VDC at 30 W so vehicle or battery supplies can drive it without converters.
