The DG4V36NMUB60 directional control valve is produced by Vickers as part of the DG4 Directional Valves series. It regulates oil flow in hydraulic systems to shift actuators and hold positions when centered. The valve uses spool type 6, which blocks port P while ports A and B return to tank, providing a safe neutral state. A wet armature solenoid reduces friction because the moving core is immersed in fluid. The coil is encapsulated to Class F so it tolerates higher surface temperatures, and its windings carry Class H insulation for additional thermal headroom. A DIN 43650 / ISO 4400 electrical connector streamlines installation and replacement, while an ED 100 % duty cycle allows continuous energization without overheating.

The subplate face follows the ISO 4401-AB-03-4-A pattern, matching the CETOP 3 (NFPA D03) interface so it mounts directly on standard manifolds. Maximum operating pressure at ports P, A, and B is 350 bar (5000 psi), supporting high-pressure industrial circuits. The coil continues to shift reliably when supply voltage drops to 90 percent of its nominal level, preventing malfunctions during brief line sag. When a matching connector is fitted, the assembly reaches IP67 protection, keeping dust and water out of the solenoid housing.
