The DG4V36CWB10 directional valve is manufactured by Vickers as part of the DG4 Directional Valves series. It directs hydraulic flow in automation circuits where reliable on-off control is required. The valve uses a spring centered arrangement that returns the spool to neutral when power is removed, and that neutral follows a P blocked, A and B to T center condition to unload the actuator ports while isolating the pump. A wet armature solenoid shifts the spool, providing quiet operation and continuous fluid damping. The ISO 4401-03 (CETOP 3, NFPA D03) mounting interface allows the unit to bolt to standard subplate mounting surfaces for easy replacement in existing manifolds. Ports P, A, and B withstand a maximum pressure of 350 bar (5000 psi), enabling use in high-pressure industrial presses and mobile machinery.

The solenoid coil is encapsulated to Class F standards, and its winding insulation is rated Class H, so the assembly tolerates elevated operating temperatures without loss of dielectric strength. This thermal resilience keeps magnetic force stable and avoids unplanned shutdowns. Continuous duty cycle operation at 100 % ED means the coil can remain energized indefinitely during machine cycles without overheating. When fitted with the specified DIN 43650 (ISO 4400) connector the valve achieves an IP67 ingress protection rating, allowing temporary immersion and full resistance to dust in harsh wash-down zones. Electrical leads exit through a 1/2-inch NPT wiring housing thread, giving installers a common conduit size for sealed routing.
