The DG4V36CUT10JAS365 valve belongs to the DG4 Directional Valves series from Vickers and provides on-off control of hydraulic flow in automated machinery. It mounts on an ISO 4401-AB-03-4-A interface that aligns with the CETOP 3 (NFPA D03) pattern, so it fits standard subplates without additional adapters. Inside the body, spool function 6 keeps port P blocked while ports A and B exhaust to T, giving a safe neutral condition for cylinders. A spring-centered “C” arrangement returns the spool to that position when the coil is de-energized, eliminating the need for external centering mechanisms. The valve handles a continuous flow of 40 l/min (10.5 US gpm) and sustains pressures up to 350 bar (5000 psi) at P, A, or B, allowing it to drive medium-power actuators. Tank port T tolerates 210 bar (3000 psi), which supports back-pressure circuits, and a 1.00 mm orifice in that port restricts surge flow to protect return lines.
Electrical actuation is supplied by a DC coil that draws 30 W, keeping power demand modest for cabinet supplies. The coil connects through an ISO 4400 (DIN 43650) plug, and when that plug is fitted the housing meets IP67, preventing water ingress during wash-down. Class F encapsulation secures the windings in resin, while Class H insulation allows the coil to withstand high operating temperatures without degradation. A 100 percent duty cycle rating (100% ED) means the valve can remain energized continuously in positioning or clamping systems. Hydraulic fluid cleanliness must not exceed ISO 4406 19/17/14, ensuring the spool and seating surfaces remain free of abrasive particles that could cause leakage or sticking.
