The DG4V36CMWLB40 directional valve is manufactured by Vickers for the DG4 Directional Valves series. It directs hydraulic flow to automate actuators in industrial machinery. The valve follows the CETOP 3 and NFPA D03 interface standard, allowing it to drop into common subplates. It mounts to manifolds through the ISO 4401-AB-03-4-A interface, aligning the pressure, tank, and work ports without adapters. Its spool provides a closed center configuration in which port P is blocked while ports A and B are routed to tank, so pump flow is isolated at neutral. A spring centered mechanism returns the spool to this neutral position when power is removed, ensuring fail-safe standby and precise restart positions.

A wet armature solenoid actuates the spool and reduces external leakage because the moving core is immersed in system oil. The coil consumes 30 W of direct current and is rated for continuous operation at a 100% duty cycle, supporting uninterrupted machine cycles. Class H insulation withstands elevated winding temperatures, and the windings are enclosed in a Class F encapsulation to resist vibration and moisture. The valve sustains system pressures up to 350 bar (5000 psi) on ports P, A, and B without loss of function. Reliable response is maintained as long as the supply voltage does not fall below 90% of its rated value, protecting against undervoltage dropouts during extended service.
