In its center position the spool blocks the pressure port P and routes ports A and B to tank, enabling safe circuit standby. A mounting interface conforming to ISO 4401-03 (CETOP 3) integrates the unit with common manifold patterns.
For installation on machinery, the valve uses a subplate mounting style that permits quick replacement without disturbing pipework. Electrical wiring is completed through Instaplug male and female receptacles, and an integral indicator light shows coil energization for immediate status confirmation. A plain manual override lets personnel shift the spool mechanically during commissioning or in power-loss situations. Continuous duty is supported by a relative duty factor of 100 % ED so the coil may remain energized indefinitely within thermal limits. The hydraulic circuit should employ petroleum oils and maintain fluid cleanliness to class 19/17/14 to protect internal clearances and spool fit. These conditions ensure reliable operation and correct response throughout demanding automation cycles.
