The DG4V36CHMU1H760EN38 directional valve is manufactured by Vickers for the DG4 Directional Valves series. It shifts spool positions with a solenoid operated mechanism, allowing electrical control of hydraulic actuators in automated machinery. The solenoid accepts a 24 VDC supply and draws 30 W, so panel power calculations are straightforward. Reliable function is maintained when the supply stays at least 90 percent of the rated value, and continuous energization is possible because the duty cycle is 100 percent ED. Heat generated by the coil is managed through Class F encapsulation, while the windings themselves carry a Class H insulation rating to resist higher temperatures. Field wiring is completed through an ISO 4400 (DIN 43650) connector which locks with a gasket to keep moisture away.
In the centered position the spool holds P blocked while A and B ports are connected to T, permitting pressure relief during standby. Flow capacity reaches 80 L/min, and the pressure limit for the P, A, and B ports is 350 bar (5000 psi), whereas the T port is rated for 210 bar (3000 psi) to protect the return line. The valve mounts on a subplate with an ISO 4401-03 interface, enabling interchange with other size-03 components. A waterproof manual override lets maintenance staff shift the spool without electrical power. Petroleum oils are the approved operating media, provided cleanliness is maintained at 19/17/14 to minimize wear and sticking.
