The DG4V36BMWB40 directional valve belongs to the DG4 Directional Valves series produced by Vickers for hydraulic automation. It controls actuator motion through spool code 6, which blocks the pressure port P and connects both work ports A and B to tank T when centered. A spring-offset arrangement designated B shifts the spool to this fail-safe position once the solenoid is de-energized. Four ports—P, T, A, and B—provide standard supply, return, and cylinder connections. Ports P, A, and B withstand 350 bar (5075 psi), allowing the valve to operate in high-pressure circuits. A wet armature solenoid keeps moving parts in oil to minimize wear and noise. The coil supports a continuous 100 percent duty cycle, and it can be ordered for either 12 VDC or 24 VDC to match the available control voltage.
The coil is molded with Class F encapsulation to guard against vibration, and Class H insulation lets the winding tolerate elevated temperatures during extended energization. Environmental sealing reaches IP67, so the assembly resists dust ingress and temporary submersion. The housing follows the ISO 4401-03 (CETOP 3) mounting interface, letting it bolt directly to standardized subplates. Port alignment complies with ISO 4401-AB-03-4-A, ensuring correct P, T, A, and B locations, while the NFPA D03 pattern maintains compatibility with North American manifold blocks.
