The DG4V36ALMWB40 directional valve is built by Vickers in the DG4 Directional Valves series for hydraulic automation. The valve routes pressurized fluid according to electric commands and supports machine control functions. Actuation is provided by a single solenoid, so flow paths shift when the coil is energized and return via spring force. The unit is designed for continuous operation at a 100 percent duty cycle, allowing the coil to remain energized without cooling periods. Its spool designated as function 6 blocks port P while connecting ports A and B to T, which vents the service lines during deenergized states. A left-hand build spool and spring arrangement identified as AL positions the operator on the appropriate side for systems that favor that orientation. Working ports P, A, and B tolerate pressures up to 350 bar (5000 psi), enabling use in high-pressure circuits common to industrial presses and mobile machinery.

Environmental sealing reaches IP67 when an ISO 4400 coil is fitted, protecting the electrical parts against dust ingress and temporary immersion. Operators can shift the spool manually through a plain override located at the solenoid end, providing circuit testing or emergency actuation without electric power.
