The DG4V32NMWB940 valve belongs to the DG4 Directional Valves series and is manufactured by Vickers for hydraulic automation circuits. It uses spool type 2 in a closed-center configuration so all service ports are blocked when the solenoid is de-energized, maintaining load position during idle periods. An ISO 4401-03 interface (CETOP 3, NFPA D03) allows the body to bolt onto common subplates without extra adapters. The solenoid employs a wet armature design, keeping moving parts lubricated by system oil and reducing magnetic chatter. The coil is encapsulated to Class F requirements, giving the assembly thermal endurance up to 155 °C for reliable service. Electrical conduit connects through a 1/2 in NPT threaded housing, enabling rigid metal tubing in industrial environments.

The coil winding carries Class H insulation so the conductors withstand temperatures up to 180 °C during prolonged energization. A continuous duty cycle of 100 % ED lets the valve remain shifted indefinitely without overheating, supporting machines that need long hold times. When fitted with a suitable connector the enclosure meets IP67, protecting the coil against dust ingress and temporary immersion. The pressure boundary accepts 350 bar (5075 psi) on the P, A, and B ports, while the tank return line tolerates 207 bar (3000 psi), allowing operation in high-pressure circuits with elevated back-pressure. These limits, combined with full-time duty capability and sealed construction, make the valve dependable in mobile and stationary hydraulic systems exposed to harsh service conditions.
