The DG4V32AMWB40S463 valve belongs to the DG4 Directional Valves series and is produced by Vickers for hydraulic automation tasks. It controls flow paths in pressure lines to start, stop, or reverse actuator movement. A wet armature solenoid is used so hydraulic fluid cools and lubricates the magnetic assembly. The coil draws 30 W of direct-current power, supplying the magnetic force needed to shift the spool. Class F encapsulation shields the coil windings against moisture and vibration, while Class H winding insulation permits high-temperature operation without loss of dielectric strength. A 100 percent ED duty cycle rating allows continuous energization without thermal cycling. The closed-center spool blocks all ports in the de-energized position to hold actuator load and isolate downstream circuits.

The spool is arranged in the A spring-offset configuration so spring force returns it to its normal position when the solenoid is de-energized. Working ports P, A, and B are approved for pressures up to 350 bar (5000 psi), enabling use in high-pressure systems. The valve mounts on an ISO 4401-AB-03-4-A interface, which standardizes port geometry and bolt pattern for interchangeability.
