The DG4V32AMUH730 valve belongs to the DG4 Directional Valves series and is manufactured by Vickers for automated hydraulic systems that require electrically actuated flow direction. Its coil encapsulation is rated as Class F to insulate the winding against elevated temperatures produced during long duty cycles. A Class H coil winding adds a higher thermal margin so the solenoid tolerates peak ambient heat without loss of function. The coil operates on 24 V DC, enabling direct connection to common machine control power supplies. An ISO 4400 (DIN 43650) coil connector simplifies wiring and allows fast coil replacement during maintenance. The solenoid develops 30 W of power, providing the magnetic force necessary to shift the spool under full system pressure. A continuous duty cycle (ED 100 percent) lets the coil remain energized indefinitely, which is useful in circuits that stay in one position for extended periods. Operation remains stable when the supply voltage falls to 90 percent of the rated level, accommodating voltage drops along cables. When fitted with the mating plug, the valve meets IP67 protection so water immersion and dust do not impair the electrical parts.
The mounting interface follows ISO 4401-AB-03-4-A, allowing the unit to bolt directly onto standard subplates without adaptors for compact manifold layouts. A closed-center spool blocks all ports in the neutral position to hold actuators and prevent pump flow when the valve is at rest. The spring-offset end-to-end arrangement returns the spool to its default position automatically after the coil is de-energized. Working ports p, a, and b withstand pressures up to 350 bar (5000 psi), supporting high-pressure cylinders and motors, while the tank port t is limited to 210 bar (3000 psi) to protect return lines. Recommended maximum subplate port diameters are 6.5 mm in gray iron and 7.0 mm in steel or spheroidal graphite iron, dimensions that keep casting strength and flow balance within design limits. Acceptable fluid cleanliness is 19/17/14, which restricts particulate sizes to reduce wear on the sliding spool surfaces and extend service life under continuous cycling.
