The DG4V30NMWB40 directional valve is produced by Vickers within the DG4 Directional Valves series. Intended to switch oil flow paths in hydraulic automation, it uses an open center spool so pump flow returns to tank when the solenoid is de-energized. A wet armature solenoid delivers smooth movement in fluid, and the DC coil supplies direct current for consistent response. The unit mounts on an ISO 4401-AB-03-4-A (CETOP 3) interface, allowing drop-in installation on standard manifolds. It withstands 350 bar on ports P, A, and B for high-pressure circuits, and a 100% ED duty cycle lets the coil stay energized continuously without thermal overload.
Electrical connection is provided through flying leads, designated as Type F, which simplifies integration into control harnesses. The winding is encapsulated to Class F and insulated to Class H, giving elevated thermal tolerance during sustained operation. Reliable shifting is maintained down to 90 percent of rated voltage, guarding against moderate supply dips. With an ISO 4400 plug fitted, the enclosure reaches IP67 and resists dust or temporary immersion. A 1/2 in NPT conduit thread accepts rigid conduit or sealed glands for secure cable entry.
