The DG4V30BLMFWBL660 directional control valve is built by Vickers as part of the DG4 Directional Valves series and is used to route hydraulic flow in automated systems. It employs spool type 0, an open-center design that returns fluid to tank when no signal is present, promoting low standby pressure. The BL spool and spring arrangement offsets the spool to the left-hand side so the open-center position is obtained automatically after de-energization. Actuation is provided by a wet armature solenoid that isolates the coil from the hydraulic fluid to reduce wear. The coil is rated at 30 W and follows coil type F, meaning it is supplied with a flying lead for direct-current power only. A 100 percent duty cycle allows the coil to remain energized continuously without thermal damage.
For electrical connection, the housing is tapped with a 1/2 in NPT thread to accept standard conduit fittings. The valve bolts to subplates that conform to ISO 4401-AB-03-4-A, using M5-0.8-6H mounting screws tightened to 4.5–6.0 N·m to maintain seal integrity. It withstands working pressures of up to 350 bar (5000 psi) on the P, A, and B ports, while the tank port is limited to 207 bar (3000 psi) to protect return-line components. The single-solenoid version weighs 1.6 kg (3.5 lb), permitting installation by one technician without lifting equipment.
