The DG4V30AWB12 valve is manufactured by Vickers as part of the DG4 Directional Valves series and is used to direct hydraulic flow in automated circuits. A wet armature solenoid performs the shifting function and draws 30 W, while the coil is encapsulated to Class F standards and insulated to Class H to tolerate sustained heat. It can run continuously at a 100 percent duty cycle, and the coil still actuates reliably when the supply falls to 90 percent of its rated voltage. When equipped with ISO 4400 coils the assembly achieves an IP67 protection rating against dust and water. These electrical characteristics and a single-solenoid mass of 1.6 kg allow stable operation in compact hydraulic manifolds.
The valve handles pressures up to 350 bar (5000 psi) at ports p, a, and b, provided the hydraulic fluid meets ISO 4406 class 19/17/14 cleanliness. It mounts on an ISO 4401-AB-03-4-A (CETOP 3) interface secured by M5×0.8-6H screws, with the mating surface required to be flat within 0.013 mm and finished to 1.1 µm Ra. Port centers are spaced 31.75 mm between a and b and 21.50 mm between p and a, ensuring alignment with standard manifold blocks.
