The DG4V-3S-2AL-M-FW-B5-60 valve belongs to the DG4 Directional Valves series from Vickers and directs oil flow in automated hydraulic circuits. It uses a closed center spool so pressure is blocked in all ports when the solenoid is not energized, and a spring offset on the left-hand side returns the spool to this position after actuation. A wet armature solenoid minimizes wear by immersing moving parts in hydraulic fluid. The coil draws 30 W of DC power, allowing control panels to size power supplies accordingly. Because the coil is rated for a continuous duty cycle of 100 % ED, the operator can hold the valve energized without thermal interruptions. Reliable shifting is maintained as long as the supply voltage remains at least 90 % of its nominal value.
The electrical end of the valve is fitted with a type F coil that is supplied with flying leads for straightforward DC wiring in machine harnesses. Hydraulic capacity reaches 40 L/min (10.5 US gpm), letting the device handle medium-flow actuators, and the pressure limit of 350 bar (5000 psi) keeps the body safe in high-pressure systems. The body mounts on an ISO 4401-03 / CETOP 3 / NFPA D03 pattern so it can replace other valves with the same footprint, while a subplate port diameter of 7.0 mm in steel bases avoids flow restriction. Cable entry is threaded 1/2 NPT, giving installers a standard conduit interface for strain relief and sealing.
