It shifts flow paths electrically because the actuation is solenoid operated, allowing remote control from a machine’s logic circuits. The coil is wound for 110 VAC at 50 Hz or 120 VAC at 60 Hz so the valve can be powered directly from standard plant supplies. Continuous energization is permissible due to a 100 percent duty cycle rating, removing restrictions on dwell time during long moves. A 5-pin connector provides a quick, keyed electrical interface that simplifies maintenance swaps. An integral indicator light shows coil energization, helping technicians verify command signals. A plain manual override lets personnel reposition the spool when electrical power is unavailable, supporting setup and emergency procedures.

The hydraulic section manages up to 40 l/min (10.5 US gpm) while withstanding 350 bar (5000 psi) on ports p, A, and B, covering many medium-pressure circuits. A closed-center spool blocks all ports in the neutral state to stop actuator motion and isolate downstream lines. A spring offset end-to-end on the left side automatically returns the spool to its home position when the coil is de-energized, ensuring predictable fail-safe behavior. The body mounts to an ISO 4401-AB-03-4-A interface so it fits common sub-plates without adaptation. Petroleum oils are the approved operating medium, aligning with conventional hydraulic fluids used in industrial equipment. System oil should be maintained cleaner than code 19/17/14 to limit wear and preserve spool accuracy.
