The DG4V-3S-2A-M-FW-B5-60 directional valve is produced by Vickers within the DG4 Directional Valves series for controlling fluid paths in hydraulic automation. It employs a 2-way closed-center spool that is held in the A spring-offset position until the solenoid is powered. The solenoid draws 30 W and is equipped with flying leads, giving installers freedom to route wires in tight manifolds. Direct current energizes the coil, and a rated flow of 40 l/min (10.5 US gpm) is accommodated through the ISO 4401-03 (CETOP 3) interface, allowing stack mounting on standard subplates without adapters.
A 1/2 in NPT conduit thread brings the supply to the coil, which reaches its working stroke in 60 ms and returns in 40 ms for precise machine cycles. Working, pressure, and service ports tolerate 350 bar (5000 psi), while the tank line remains limited to 100 bar (1450 psi) to safeguard reservoir components. Continuous operation at a 100 % ED duty factor prevents overheating during long actuation periods. Compatibility with the NFPA D03 footprint aids interchangeability with North American manifolds, and the DC coil voltage streamlines integration with common control panels.
