The DG4V-3S-0A-M-U-G5-60 valve is produced by Vickers as part of the DG4 Directional Valves series, and it directs hydraulic flow in automated machinery by shifting a spool with a solenoid-operated mechanism. The molded coil has Class F encapsulation and Class H insulation so it endures elevated winding temperatures, and a 100% duty cycle lets it remain energized continuously. Power reaches the coil through an ISO 4400 (DIN 43650) connector, with reliable shifting maintained when supply voltage is at least 90 percent of the rated value. The electrical section carries an IP67 rating that blocks dust and temporary immersion, and the body withstands 350 bar (5000 psi) on ports P, A, and B.
The hydraulic section contains an open-center spool that links all ports when the solenoid is not powered, and a spring offset arrangement drives the spool to one end position after de-energization. Subplate attachment follows the ISO 4401-AB-03-4-A mounting interface, while port spacing complies with the CETOP 3 (NFPA D03) pattern for manifold compatibility. System pressure can be monitored through the 7/16-20 UNF SAE gauge port thread, and all internal passages are intended for petroleum oils as the working fluid. The valve passes up to 40 l/min (10.5 US gpm) without exceeding rated performance.
