The DG4V-32-2A-M-FTWL-B5-60 is a directional control valve from Vickers within the DG4 Directional Valves series. It directs hydraulic flow in automation circuits. The valve is solenoid operated, allowing electrical signals to shift the spool without manual effort. Its coil accepts 110 VAC at 50 Hz or 120 VAC at 60 Hz so it can be powered by common plant supplies, and it draws 58 VA at 60 Hz which defines the load on control transformers. Connection to power is through flying leads exiting a 1/2-inch NPT conduit entry, simplifying wiring on subplates or manifolds. An ISO 4401-03 interface standardizes the mounting surface for interchangeability, while the subplate or manifold mount style lets the installer choose between individual bases or integrated blocks. The valve sustains flow up to 80 L/min and withstands system pressure to 350 bar for medium-power hydraulic machinery.

An indicator light on the coil housing confirms energization at a glance, reducing time spent with test lamps during diagnostics. A plain manual override lets maintenance staff shift the spool mechanically for flushing or positioning tasks when electrical power is unavailable. Spool code 2 establishes an open-center pattern suited to single-actuator circuits, and the spring offset from end to end biases the spool to its normal position without auxiliary stops. Viton seals tolerate common petroleum fluids and limit leakage when temperatures rise near the upper limit. The tank port is rated for 210 bar so elevated return pressures in counterbalance circuits will not force the seals to bypass. Continuous duty is authorized between −20 °C and 70 °C, keeping the valve functional in unheated outdoor yards as well as warmed factory cells.
