The DG4V-3-2AL-M-U-HL7-60 valve is part of the DG4 Directional Valves series manufactured by Vickers for hydraulic automation that needs reliable on-off flow control. A closed-center spool keeps all service ports blocked in the neutral position so actuators hold position without bypass flow. A single solenoid shifts the spool when energized, while a spring-offset arrangement on the left side returns it to neutral when power is removed. The coil is rated for 24 V DC and draws 30 W, allowing direct connection to common machine power supplies without excessive current demand. Continuous duty at 100 % ED means the solenoid can remain powered indefinitely. An energize response time of 60 ms provides prompt actuation, and the spool reverts in 40 ms after de-energizing to minimize lag during cycling.
The valve mounts on an ISO 4401-AB-03-4-A interface, matching the CETOP 3 (NFPA D03) port pattern so it fits standard subplates and manifolds. Proper clamp force is achieved by tightening the mounting bolts to 5–7 N·m, ensuring leak-free sealing at working pressure. The P, A, and B ports withstand up to 350 bar (5075 psi), while the T return port is limited to 207 bar (3000 psi). An IP67 rating, when the specified plug is fitted, protects the solenoid enclosure against dust and temporary immersion. The U-type coil uses an ISO 4400 / DIN 43650 connector for quick wiring, and a plain manual override on the solenoid end permits local actuation during commissioning or power loss.
