The DG4V-3-2A-M-P7-H-7-50 directional control valve is manufactured by Vickers within the DG4 Directional Valves series. It directs hydraulic flow to actuators in automated machinery where precise on-off control is required. A subplate mounting pattern allows quick replacement without disturbing pipework, and the CETOP 3 NG6 interface matches widely used manifold blocks. The valve employs spool code 2, a closed center design that blocks all ports in the neutral position to hold load pressure. Spring arrangement A offsets the spool end-to-end so it returns to its default position when the solenoid is de-energized. A 24 VDC solenoid coil provides actuation power, and the device continues to switch reliably when supply voltage drops to 90 percent of the rated value. Electrical load on the control circuit is fixed at 30 W of coil power consumption.

The solenoid is encapsulated to Class F, and its insulation system meets Class H limits so continuous heat buildup is tolerated. A 100 percent duty cycle means the coil may remain energized indefinitely without thermal damage. Electrical connection is made through male Packard Weatherpak pins that seal the joint against moisture and contaminants. A water-resistant manual override lets maintenance staff shift the spool mechanically during power loss. The valve withstands system pressures up to 350 bar (5000 psi) at the pressure, A, and B ports, while the tank port rating is 210 bar (3000 psi) to suit return lines. These pressure limits, combined with the electrical and mechanical features outlined, support dependable service in demanding hydraulic automation circuits.
