The DG4V-3-0B-L-MPA3-WLB-P10-40 directional valve is manufactured by Vickers for the DG4 Directional Valves series and is used to shift flow paths in hydraulic automation circuits. It employs spool type 0, giving the unit an open center when the solenoid is not powered. A left-hand build orientation places the solenoid on the specified side for standard manifold layouts, and the ISO 4401-AB-03-4-A mounting interface matches CETOP 3 / NFPA D03 subplates. Actuation is provided by a wet armature solenoid that draws 30 W in direct-current service and can remain energized under a continuous 100 % duty rating. Power is routed through a PA3 three-pin receptacle, and incoming conductors pass through a 1/2 in NPT wiring housing thread that seals the enclosure.
The valve supports a maximum flow of 40 l/min (10.5 US gpm) and withstands 350 bar (5000 psi) at ports P, A, and B. Reliable operation is maintained as long as supply voltage stays above 90 % of its nominal value. A P10 restrictor inserts a 1.0 mm orifice in the pressure port to smooth surges, and the assembly achieves IEC 144 IP67 ingress protection when the correct connector is fitted. Typical energize time for the 2C spool is 60 ms, while typical de-energize time is 40 ms, allowing predictable shift timing in control loops. A spring arrangement coded B returns the spool from an end position to center once the solenoid is de-energized, completing the functional profile required by hydraulic machine builders.
