The DG4S533CWTRF10 valve is produced by Vickers and belongs to the DG4 Directional Valves series for hydraulic automation applications. It is solenoid operated so an electrical coil shifts the internal spool. Spool 33 geometry, combined with a spring-centered design, establishes defined flow paths and returns the spool to neutral when power is removed. Single stage construction keeps the flow path short and response time low. The body follows the ISO 4401-05 (NFPA D05) pattern and mounts on subplates or manifolds to simplify installation. Electrical entry is provided by a 1/2 in NPT wiring housing that feeds a wired terminal block. Permissible hydraulic fluid temperature ranges from −20 °C (−4 °F) to 70 °C (158 °F).
System oil cleanliness must be maintained at ISO 4406 class 19/17/14 to protect the precision spool clearances. The valve passes up to 120 L/min (32 gpm) while operating at port pressures of 315 bar (4500 psi) on P, A, and B. The tank port is rated for 100 bar (1450 psi), so return lines must stay within this limit. Viton seals contain the hydraulic fluid and tolerate the specified temperature band. In service the unit functions as a directional control element, routing flow between work ports according to coil energization and spool position.
