The DG4S4LW-012C-360 directional valve is produced by Vickers within the DG4 Directional Valves series and provides on-command flow routing for hydraulic actuators. It is solenoid operated so coil energization shifts the spool without external pilot pressure, and its flying lead coil wire housing simplifies electrical hookup in confined panels. An integrated indicator light shows coil status during troubleshooting. The valve mates to ISO 4401-05 (NFPA D05) interfaces and shares the D05 size, allowing direct replacement on standard subplates. Subplate or manifold mounting keeps line connections rigid and short. Internally, a Spool 2 element establishes the required flow paths, while a spring-centered three-position arrangement returns the spool to neutral when the coil is de-energized. The unit is built as a single stage device, which produces direct actuation with minimal response lag.
The valve handles system pressures to 3600 psi and passes up to 25 gpm, enabling medium-capacity circuits such as clamping or tool feed lines. Its tank port sustains 1000 psi, so return line backpressure does not compromise operation. Buna-N seals confine petroleum-based hydraulic oils, which are the accepted working fluids for this model. To protect internal clearances, fluid cleanliness must be maintained at 20/18/15 or better. Overall body length is 9.50 in, a dimension that fits common D05 manifolds without overhang.
