It directs pressurized fluid to actuators in automated machinery, providing bidirectional cylinder or motor control. The internal spool follows a sliding spool design that opens or blocks ports in defined sequence, and the valve function is 4-way to supply and return two work lines. A DC solenoid generates the magnetic force, while a spring offset keeps the spool in its de-energized position until current is applied. The valve seats on a manifold using gasket mounted hardware, allowing replacement without pipe work changes and sealing the hydraulic passages on a flat surface.
