The DG4 3S2CMUH560 valve is produced by Vickers within the DG4 Directional Valves series and directs hydraulic flow in automated circuits. Spool type 2 with a closed center blocks all ports in neutral to hold loads when the coil is not powered. A C spring-centered arrangement returns the spool to neutral automatically after actuation. The valve handles up to 40 l/min (10.5 USgpm), while ports p, a, and b tolerate 350 bar (5075 psi); the T port is limited to 100 bar (1450 psi) to protect return lines. It mounts on an ISO 4401-03 (CETOP 3) interface for easy subplate interchange. A wet armature solenoid reduces noise and improves service life, and its coil is rated for 24 V DC control commonly used in industrial power supplies.
The valve remains functional with supply voltage down to 90 percent of its 24 V rating. Electrical wiring attaches through an ISO 4400 (DIN 43650) connector that can be removed for maintenance. Continuous duty is supported by a 100 percent ED rating, and power consumption is 30 W so several valves can share a single supply; this 30 W rating also keeps enclosure heat rise low in densely packed manifolds. An IP67 ingress protection level seals the unit against dust and temporary immersion. Typical energize time is 60 ms and de-energize time is 40 ms, supporting accurate cylinder or motor positioning in automated sequences.
