The PCGV8A110 is produced by Vickers in the Check Valves series and serves hydraulic automation circuits that must hold load pressure until a pilot line releases flow. The valve mounts on an ISO 5781 AH-08-2-A surface so it attaches directly to standardized subplates. A pilot area ratio of 3.5:1 allows the element to open when the pilot pressure reaches roughly one-third of the line pressure. Its cracking pressure of 2 bar (29 psi) keeps the circuit sealed while limiting the force needed for initial lift. Maximum flow is 300 L/min (80 USgpm), and ports A, B, and X tolerate 350 bar (5000 psi) for high-pressure operation. An external drain through port Y removes back pressure that could delay closure.
The housing measures 165.10 mm in length, 104.14 mm in width, and 71.12 mm in height, conserving space inside manifold stacks. The valve operates in ambient temperatures from −20 °C to 70 °C (−4 °F to 158 °F), and petroleum oil within the same temperature range maintains seal integrity. Compatibility with L-HM, L-HFB, and L-HFC fluids lets designers use mineral oil, water-glycol, or fire-resistant synthetics. Pilot drain port Y must remain below 100 bar (1500 psi) so the control piston stays responsive under all conditions.
