The PCGV6CD110 check valve is produced by Vickers as part of the Check Valves series and is intended to block reverse flow in hydraulic automation systems. It mounts on an ISO 5781 AG-06-2-A interface, allowing direct installation on standard subplates. The valve withstands a maximum operating pressure of 350 bar (5000 psi), while its 5 bar (73 psi) cracking pressure ensures consistent forward flow initiation. A 1.5 bar (22 psi) C factor limits pressure rise during closure, protecting downstream components. A built-in decompression feature gradually equalizes pressure before full opening, and an external drain at port Y removes pilot oil from the main passage. The unit handles up to 150 L/min (40 US gpm) and uses a 33.8:1 pilot piston area ratio to assist rapid poppet movement.
The PCGV6CD110 accommodates L-HM, L-HFB, L-HFC, and L-HFD (F3) fluids, making it suitable for petroleum and fire-resistant media. It operates in ambient conditions from −20 °C to 70 °C, so enclosure heating or cooling is seldom required. Petroleum fluids may range between −20 °C and 70 °C, whereas water-containing blends must stay within 10 °C to 54 °C to prevent vapor formation. Port Y tolerates back-pressures up to 100 bar (1500 psi), ensuring the drain remains effective during transient pilot surges. These fluid, temperature, and drain limits define the valve’s service envelope and guide technicians in selecting compatible oils, planning cooling circuits, and verifying pilot return conditions.
