The F34CT 03 A 21 pilot-operated check valve is built by Vickers for the Check Valves series and serves hydraulic automation by allowing flow in one direction while preventing reverse flow until a pilot signal is applied. It accommodates a maximum operating pressure of 210 bar (3000 psi) and supports a nominal flow of 50 l/min (12 USgpm). The cracking pressure is fixed at 2 bar (30 psi) to keep the poppet seated during low back-pressure events. Two gauge ports with 7/16-20 UNF threads are provided so service technicians can measure circuit pressure; each port accepts 1/4 in OD tubing for instrumentation lines. The valve body includes three system ports sized for 3/8 in pipe, and the primary system connections are threaded 3/8 NPTF to match common hydraulic fittings.
Pilot control enters through a 9/16-18 UNF-2B port, supplying the pressure needed to release the check element when reverse flow is required. Seals are compatible with mineral oil and fire-resistant fluids, enabling use in varied media without material changes. The assembly weighs 2.7 kg (6 lb), making it manageable for manifold or line mounting. Operation requires fluid filtered to ISO 18/15 or cleaner to limit wear on internal components. The valve includes no decompression feature, so the pilot pressure must offset the full downstream load before the poppet opens.
