The F3 C4G 815 check valve is manufactured by Vickers as part of the Check Valves series. It is installed in hydraulic automation circuits to permit flow in one direction and block reverse flow so actuators hold position when pumps are idle. The unit is designed for subplate or manifold mounting, which allows direct integration into compact stack systems. Its front-loaded seat lets maintenance personnel replace the sealing element without removing the body from the manifold. A standard cracking pressure of 0.3 bar (5 psi) ensures the valve opens quickly with minimal pump back-pressure, while a maximum operating pressure of 210 bar (3000 psi) supports medium-pressure industrial machinery.

For compatibility with diverse hydraulic media, the valve accepts L-HM mineral oil as well as fire-resistant L-HFB, L-HFC, and L-HFD fluids, giving designers flexibility in fluid selection. The flow passages terminate in 3/4-inch pipe or 3/4-inch tube ports so existing lines of either type can be connected without adapters. A Viton seal is used to resist swelling when exposed to synthetic or high-temperature fluids, maintaining leak-tight performance over time. System reliability is further aided by an ISO 20/18/15 cleanliness recommendation, which limits particle contamination and protects the seating surfaces from wear that could lead to bypass leakage.
