The F3-4CG-10-A-21 check valve is produced by Vickers for the Check Valves series and enables one-way flow in hydraulic automation so cylinders or motors hold position when supply pressure falls. A ductile iron body provides resistance to pressure cycling, and the assembly tolerates operating pressures up to 210 bar (3000 psi). Its nominal flow capacity of 284 l/min (75 US gpm) supports high-volume circuits, while a 1-1/4 in inlet accommodates large pipelines. The poppet lifts at a cracking pressure of 2 bar (30 psi), then a pilot area ratio of 2.6:1 keeps opening force low so the pressure drop at rated flow remains limited to 3.4 bar (50 psi). Subplate or manifold mounting simplifies replacement in stacked control blocks, and a Viton seal resists heat and aggressive hydraulic media.
The valve body measures 4.65 in in length, 4.00 in in width, and 7.64 in in height, allowing placement inside compact power units. A weight of 26 lb (11.8 kg) permits manual handling during service. The gauge port uses a 7/16-20 UNF thread so standard diagnostic equipment can be connected without adapters. Internal passages are compatible with phosphate ester fluids for use in fire-resistant systems, and operation requires oil cleanliness of 19/17/14 to protect the poppet sealing edge. The compact dimensions also reduce manifold footprint in densely packed control blocks.
