The C2 815 UB check valve is manufactured by Vickers within the Check Valves series and is intended to maintain controlled, one-way flow in hydraulic automation circuits. It permits fluid movement in a single direction, an arrangement defined by its one-way flow design, so reverse flow is blocked to protect pumps and actuators. The poppet begins to lift at a cracking pressure of 0.3 bar (5 psi), allowing the valve to open with minimal upstream force and reduce energy loss during low-pressure starts. A port size of 3/4 in matches common medium-capacity lines, simplifying manifold or hose selection. To withstand repetitive seating under load, the seat and poppet are made of hardened steel, providing abrasion resistance and consistent sealing over long service intervals.

The valve operates safely at system pressures up to 210 bar (3000 psi), so it can be installed in high-pressure supply or return paths without derating. Its right-angle form factor changes flow direction by 90 degrees, a layout that saves space in compact power units or junction blocks. Mounting orientation is unrestricted, enabling placement in horizontal or vertical lines without affecting function or seal integrity. A nitrile (Buna-N) primary seal resists standard hydraulic oils and maintains elasticity over a broad temperature range, ensuring reliable closure when the poppet returns to the seat.
